Grossman Solutions in partnership with the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health, is hiring Canvassers to help Connecticut residents receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The paid canvass is part of a larger grassroots outreach campaign to schedule Connecticut residents for COVID-19 vaccination appointments and educate them on the vaccine. The campaign will prioritize majority African American and Latino neighborhoods to ensure an equitable vaccination rollout.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, engaging, driven and wants to make a difference in their community by increasing the number of Connecticut residents who receive the vaccine, and improving health outcomes for communities of color.
Canvassers will be assigned to a specific region of the state and report to the region’s Canvass Supervisor. Canvassers will work in major Connecticut cities including Bridgeport, New Haven, Stamford, Hartford, Waterbury, Norwalk, Danbury, New Britain, Bristol, and Meriden.
This is a part-time to full-time position that is envisioned to last until October 31. We are hiring on a rolling basis. Pay is $23/hour and canvassers will receive mileage stipends.
Canvassers will work in the field and be based out of our field offices. Canvassers will be required to travel throughout their assigned region.
