Battleground Alliance - National Field Director
Position Overview
The National Field Director is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive field operations and political strategy across target congressional districts. This position reports directly to the Campaign Manager and Chief of Staff, overseeing coalition building, grassroots organizing, and voter engagement initiatives to support Battleground Alliance's mission

Key Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with coalition partners and colleagues, develop local field campaign plans that help Democrats win House races in priority congressional districts
- Design and execute comprehensive voter contact programs including but not limited to canvassing, relational organizing, texting phone banking, and earned media
- Coordinate with state and local leaders to align field efforts
- Supervise regional and in-state staff
- Support coalition development and partner engagement strategies
- Establish clear performance goals and accountability measures for voter contact, implement data-driven field reporting systems, and adjust field tactics based on data
- Foster collaborative relationships between field operations and other departments
- Collaborate with Battleground Alliance communications team to develop resonant messages that persuade and move targeted voters
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on resource allocation
- Track, analyze, and share electoral developments in target districts
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in political science, communications, public policy, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in political campaigns, organizing, or related field operations
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale field programs across multiple states or districts
- Previous experience in senior campaign roles (Field Director, Political Director, or equivalent)
- Proven track record of successful voter contact and GOTV operations
Political Experience
- Deep understanding of electoral politics, campaign finance, and compliance requirements
- Experience with 501(c)3, 501(c)4, and PAC operations and legal restrictions
- Knowledge of voter file management and targeting methodologies
- Familiarity with congressional redistricting and competitive district dynamics
- Experience working with diverse coalitions and stakeholder groups

- Experience with budget development and resource allocation

Compensation
- $120,000-$140,000 depending on experience
- Comprehensive benefits package included
- Remote position with DC preference
- Extensive travel required
